Mrs. Lorissa Coast Ed.S

Mrs. Lorissa Coast, LDE Consulting Group’s CEO, is a seventeen-year certified educator with teaching and leadership experience in K-12 and post-secondary grade bands. She holds a Bachelor of Science in English, Master of Education in Adult Education & Community Leadership, and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. She has served as a Classroom Teacher, Adjunct Professor, Department Chair, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, Principal in both at-risk and high-performing schools. As a trained trainer in differentiated instruction, Mrs. Coast specializes in the implementation of methods to improve student results in at-risk, historically underperforming demographics. No matter the grade band or level of deficiency of the student group, Mrs. Coast has been able to produce high level outcomes in the classroom and school environment, which is why she was selected as a member of the State of Georgia’s Teacher Advisory Council for the past two State Superintendents. Currently, Mrs. Coast is the State of Georgia’s Director of Career and Technical Education for the Department of Juvenile Justice. As a transformational leader with experience as a turn-around educator, she is equipped with all the building blocks of what makes a highly effective educator. Her infectious energy and “down to earth” presentation style has inspired teachers and leaders to lean into more succinct, results-oriented instructional practices for the betterment of students.
